Qianlong mark, Republic period Its flaring rim of foliate form conforming to the six lobes molded into the body walls above a tall spreading foot, the scarlet red glaze layer suffused with stripes and patches of pale blue that turns to greenish brown on the interior walls, the recessed base bearing the six-character mark impressed in seal script beneath a chocolate brown glaze (foot polished).8 1/4in (21cm) high
