此对花觚为铜胎剔红漆器。撇口、束颈、鼓腹、高足，造型典雅端庄，周身满工浮雕纹饰，风格华美。口沿下雕如意云头纹、拐子龙纹，颈部雕变形蕉叶纹、不断回纹、拐子纹，腹部雕螭龙纹；通体阴雕回纹锦地。工艺繁复，层次居多。口沿和圈足上可见铜胎，内壁及足底上黑漆。此对花觚施漆肥厚，色泽浓郁喜庆，纹饰饱满华丽，雕刻细致精美，为陈设之佳品。
