圆领，对襟，平袖，左右开裾。石青色团龙暗花纱面，月白色绫里。开裾上端铜鎏金錾花扣各一枚，后裾下部扣鼻二枚，便于骑坐时掀起衣襟。前胸、后背分别缀一锈仙鹤纹方补，方补以石青素纱为地，用正一丝串针法绣寿纹、蝙蝠纹；以斜缠针、施毛针、套针绣仙鹤、红日、云蝠、江崖；以捻金线为方框，织造细密，为正一品大臣补服。一品大臣用仙鹤补服，其含义主要源于《诗经·小雅》中的“鹤鸣九皋，声闻于天”取其奏对天子之意。另外，仙鹤在吉祥鸟中的地位仅次于凤凰，而凤凰是皇后的象征，故明清两代取仙鹤作官居一品的寓意。
