德化白瓷胎体滑润致密，釉面晶莹光亮，乳白似象牙，如凝脂冻玉，无论是器型，还是装饰艺术，都十分精湛，拍品即为一例。此炉取商周时铜簋样式，唇口，短颈，鼓腹，高圈足，腹壁对饰变形龙耳，颈部划刻各样纹理比邻，有团菊、 兽面、银钱等，依序置列一周，高圈足底缘微撇，足身均匀细线作回纹。炉身及底均施白釉，釉面白皙凝腻，规整古雅，颇有青铜器之遗韵。
