拍品斗笠状，形制规整，内外满施柿红釉，釉色晶莹光润，因建窑瓷皆仰烧，口沿处釉薄，呈酱褐色，流止于足端，形成垂釉痕。柿红釉在日本被称作“灰背天目”，其釉色极为罕见，纹理多变，质感奇特，有别于兔毫、油滴一类，而以朴素朦胧之色示人，尤为难得。
