石瓢乃曼生十八式壶型之一，由于其独特的造型，历来被文人雅士所喜爱，此件便是典型的民国石瓢壶。壶以上等紫砂泥为胎，泥质细腻坚致，颗粒隐现，呈金字塔式上小下大，气韵沉稳；壶口较阔，上接平盖桥钮，下承三只乳丁浅足。壶身一面由民国陶刻家邵云如题诗作铭“南山僧饷茶，云如刻”，一面刻绘兰花数丛，清雅芳香，文人气味十足。
