钤印：山春所作（朱） |沙馥（1831-1906） 晚清画家，字山春号粟庵，别署香泾外史，江苏苏州人，出身绘画世家，马仙根弟子。善画人物、仕女、花卉，以此为业，为苏州阊门外山塘年画铺中最著名画家。初慕陈老莲，问业于任熊。因自愧画学不如任薰雄伟恣肆，遂弃老莲法，转学改琦、费丹旭，并专攻仕女、花卉，遂自成一家，卒年七十六。
