端石，坑仔岩，有鸲鹆眼，色彩纯净，各色相间，形态圆正，晕作八层，是鸲鹆眼中的顶级之品。砚作琴与圭璧的复合式，雕工精细繁复，一丝不苟，砚背有四高足。有嵌玉红木砚盒，铭：“九霄环佩，鹤鸣秋月”，落“峻斋伊立勋铭”。北京故宫博物院藏有与此类似者。伊立勋（1856-1942），字熙绩，号峻斋、石琴，别署石琴老人、石琴馆主，生于清咸丰六年（1856年），室名石琴馆，福建宁化人，伊秉绶后人。清末民初著名书法大家，真草篆隶无所不能，功力深厚。曾任清光绪无锡知县，民国时期寓居上海以卖字为生。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系·文房四宝·纸砚》第198页，图141。
