题识：己丑秋镜汀吴熙曾|钤印：镜汀书画(朱文)、吴熙曾印(白文) |吴墨林旧藏||吴镜汀|（1904-1972），原名熙曾，祖籍浙江绍兴，生于北京，曾任中国画学研究会评议、北平艺专山水画专任讲师，解放后历任北京画院副院长、中国美术家协会书记处书记。吴镜汀早年学画从清初王石谷入手，并得到近代画家金拱北的指导，吸取了丰富的传统技法，打下了稳固的基础。
