|说明：此件笔筒色泽深沉，包浆莹润，采大料整挖而成，口底相若，胫部微敛。采用高浮雕技法而就，因材而制，顺势镌琢文人高士图。崖壁高耸，山势奇峻，古木参天，韵松如海，竹林静谧，旨趣天然，景物繁复，然构图错落有致，层次分明，刀法犀利洒脱，雕刻娴熟稳健，展现了制器艺人极为高超的掌控能力，此笔筒器形硕大，堪足珍罕，已属难得，又因其本身物理性特殊，凝结的地方硬，腐朽的地方脆，用刀须十分小心。沉香为名贵香料，亦可入药，产自南洋，身有奇香，十分名贵。晚明香道盛行，达官显贵努力搜求，以制文玩，尤以清代宫廷最为突出。沉香木成材通常需数十年，或达数百年的时间，且多朽木细干，故用之雕刻大体量之器较为少见。此件笔筒体型硕大，筒壁坚硬厚实，刻划细致入微，体现了清代之雕刻水平，值得珍藏品赏。
