The charger is decorated in an 18th century style imitating the blue and white wares of the Ming dynasty. The dish is decorated to the centre with a roundel enclosing various flowers on densely scrolling foliage. This design is repeated on the cavetto and on the exterior, all between a band of scrolls and key frets. The underside with an apocryphal Yongzheng mark to the base.
Condition: There is a restuck section to the rim (23.5 cm. wide) with an associated chip (approx. 2.5 cm. wide.)
Surface wear, particularly to the rim.
