Late Ming DynastyHeavily cast seated cross-legged in dhyanasana, the Buddha portrayed with a benign facial expression with downcast eyes and pendulous ears, the hands folded and rested on the lap in dhyana mudra, dressed in long flowing robe bordered with floral hem, loosely revealing the wan symbol on the chest. 36.8cm (14 1/2in) high
