A CHINESE CLOISONNE 'LOTUS' VASE QIANLONG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1736-95The pear-shaped body with a slightly tapering neck, decorated with stylised lotus flowerheads and scrolling foliage on a turquoise ground and a band of ruyi-heads around the rim, a five character mark to the base which reads Qian Long nian zhi deng, 12cm.Provenance: from the collection of Mr George Athenogenes, London.Cf.
