The additional material comprises: 6 additional duplicate plates before numbers, 3 of which are captioned on the verso in manuscript by Edwards; an unnumbered image of Cagui minor differing from that published as plate 218, dated 1751 in the plate as opposed to 1752; a baboon, signed in the plate "Muller direxit", and captioned on the verso in Edwards' hand "A sort of Mantiger [Mantegar] brought from Moco, is of the Size of a Boy of Eight years Old: Drawn and Colourd from life".Provenance: William Hardman, bookplates; Peter Brooke, ownership inscriptions; De Goederen, Amsterdam, 7 February 1956.
