A LARGE CHINESE BRONZE INCENSE BURNER.17th to 18th Century.Of compressed globular form, supported on low conical tripod feet and rising to an everted rim, the sides flanked by a pair of protruding lion-head handles, the base with a three-character Qin Shu Lu mark (companion of the qin and the book).8cm H, 24cm diameter.4.35kg.十七至十八世紀 銅獅首耳三足乳釘爐,「琴書侶」款 Qin Shu Luis an alias of the offical Wu Bangzuo, responsible for oversight of bronze censer production during the Xuande period. His apocryphal mark was used in later periods as a tribute to his work and to associate with his literati credentials.
