THE FOLLOWING LOTS (249 - 291) form part of a collection assembled by a couple who lived in China as missionaries in the 1890s, and subsequently worked for the British embassy in Peking. They travelled widely through Asia, visiting China, Tibet, and Japan amongst other countries.
