A Chinese Imperial yellow Peking glass vase, Qing Dynasty, standing on a slightly splayed base encircled by a band of lappets carved in low relief, the ovoid body well carved with a pair of chilong, each rising with curled body, the head turned downwards, a band of pendant stiff leaves encircling the flared neck, 16cm high Provenance: Purchased by the current owner at Sotheby's, London, 12th November, 1979, lot 34, from the collection of Professor P.H.
