A late 19th century French brass and champlevé enamel four glass mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, above a mercury compensated pendulum, the gilt chapter ring with Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Nicolas Schami Alexandrie' within a polychrome enamelled foliate surround, the cylindrical case with bevelled glass panels, polychrome enamelled foliate borders and two pairs of columns beneath an urn surmount, height 37.5cm.
