|说明：大肚弥勒佛是汉传佛教中常见的一种造像形式，在中原地区流传甚广，为慈悲福分之象征。其形象为慈眉善目、笑容可掬；大腹光头、跣足屈膝；游戏而坐、神态悠闲；一手拿念珠、一手按布袋，所以又称布袋和尚，是依照五代时期僧人契此的形象塑造。到宋代以后，这一形象在汉传佛教中逐渐广为人熟知。|弥勒佛为中国大乘佛教八大菩萨之一，是释尊的继任者，俗称未来佛。此尊弥勒佛坐像，右手持念珠搭于右膝之上，左手握一布袋，结游戏姿坐于圆形台座之上，神态悠闲。慈眉善目，笑容可掬，大肚袒腹，笑口常开，形象刻划生动写实，将其逍遥自在、大肚能容的形象表现得极为到位。衣纹自然流畅，极具质感。整体青铜铸造，体型较大，制作工艺精巧，形象刻划生动传神，为明代造像的经典之作。
