此拍品由白玉所製，口沿略外撇，上配環鈕蓋盒，盒頂鐫蝙蝠和葫蘆以應“福”、“祿”之意。短頸溜肩，頸兩側置雙環耳，腹中束腰，形成上下兩個圓腹，分別書有“大”、“吉”兩個大字，側面則佈滿連綿纏繞的藤蔓，意喻“萬代連綿”，碩大的葉片下藏著一個個欲滴的葫蘆，顯得極為繁茂豐盛。葫蘆在中國的神話傳說中多有記載，被視為誕生始祖的母體，先祖靈魂的歸宿地，葫蘆籽為萬物的種子，葫蘆笙聲為來自祖先的聲音等等；因在漢語中諧音“福祿”，而成為富貴，長壽，吉祥，平安的象征。又因其藤蔓延綿，果實繁盛，而被視為子孫萬代，多子多孫的吉祥之物。
