CINA, DINASTIA MING (1368-1644) - A FINE APPLE-GREEN GLAZED MEIPING PORCELAIN VASE, CHINA, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) The vase is in very good condition with the exception of some minor glaze firing imperfections and some light and minor glaze scratches. The base with two small carrots where have been taken the sample for the test. The dating of this lot is consistent with the result of a thermoluminescence test. 28,8 cm high, 15,5 cm wide Elegantly potted with full high rounded shoulders and gently spreading base below a short neck and everted rim, covered on the exterior with a fine apple-green glaze stopping nearly above the unglazed foot-rim and flat shaped foot, the interior in apple-green and the flat base left unglazed.
