A Karatsu bowl by Nakazato Muan of rounded square shape with indented corners depicting a pine tree in iron-brown. Marked with three deep dots in shape of a triangle. Tomobako, the reverse of the lid inscribed E-Karatsu hachi jûnidai Tarôemon and sealed Ochawan gama. Around 1960.Nakazato Muan (1895-1985), Tarôemon XII, received the title "Intangible Cultural Property for Karatsu ware" in 1955 and in 1975 the title "Important Intangible Cultural Property for Karatsu ware".
