Large bronze bust "Richard Sorge" on an angular stone base, height approx. 52 cm, total height approx. 60 cm, well preserved. From the building of the Ministry of State Security (Stasi) in Chemnitz. Sorge (1895-1944) spied for the Soviet secret service since 1929, on the anniversary of the October Revolution, on November 7, 1944, he was hanged in Japan. He was presented to the staff of the MfS as an idol.
