The first is a dish decorated in the 'Master of the Rocks' style, depicting a scholar and attendant holding a qin below a gnarled pine tree amongst rocks and mountains in a river landscape. The second is a charger decorated to the centre with figures in a mountainous river landscape surrounded by a diaper band. The cavetto is delicately pierced with an openwork basket design, all below a keyfret band to the rim, which is bound with a metal band.
