A Japanese lacquer and gilt decorated table cabinet, Meiji period, the pair of panelled doors with central black lacquer field decorated in gilt depicting a landscape view incorporating cranes flying over a coastal area with Mount Fuji in the background, the remaining panels depicting birds amongst blossom trees, the doors opening to an arrangement of seven gilt dusted and butterfly decorated drawer fronts, on a shallow plinth base, 55cm high, 56cm wide, 36.5cm deep
