18th centuryEach piece decorated with floral swags around a family crest of a black and gilt urn bearing the initials D.K., comprising: two large meat plates, 45.5cm wide, two smaller, 33.5cm and 29cm wide, two large tureens with covers with wild boar handles, 33cm wide, a vegetable tureen with rope-twist handles, 30cm wide, a spoon tray and a small sauce tureen with wild boar handles, (lacking cover), 18cm wide, (numerous damages throughout).(11).
|Provenance: Removed from a Scottish country house. The export service is likely to relate to a commission by Sir David Kinloch c.1710 – 1795, 5th Baronet of Gilmerton.
