签名：二〇〇四，京新画。|钤印：周京新印、肖形印 |「周京新」|1959年出生于南京。1984年毕业于南京艺术学院美术系中国画专业，获学士学位并留校任教。1989年南京艺术学院美术系中国画研究生毕业，获硕士学位。现工作、生活于南京，为南京艺术学院教授、硕士生导师、美术学院副院长、中国美术家协会会员、江苏美协主席。1986年为邮电部设计《中国古代体育》邮票一套并发行。多幅作品由中国美术馆收藏。出版有《中国当代名画家手稿—周京新》、《周京新水浒人物八十图》等多种画集。
