款识：七弦欲整调新曲倦椅石床矫睡足惺忪好梦记初回一桁桐阴坠秋绿壬戌之秋写于碧痕香馆鲁孙仁棣大人方家教正。|钤印：包栋长寿（朱文）子粱（朱文） |作者简介：包栋，字子梁，号近三，一号子良，又号苕华馆主，山阴（今浙江绍兴）人，寒松阁谈艺琐录作江苏苏州人。刘咏弟子。||作品赏析：绘夏日桐荫下一小姐抚琴。桐荫葱郁，树干挺拔，荫下翠竹倚石，随风轻摇；小姐抚琴于台石之上，冥思苦想乐律，一股倦意显现于脸上。人物描绘工写结合，发簪细致入微，表情生动，身躯衣纹线条流畅，身旁配以矮枝坡石，使画面更显丰富，取材新颖，与众不同，技法娴熟。为海派60名家之一，在中国美术史上的地位显著。
