|Granny Takes A Trip opened in the hub of 'Swinging London' in the King's Road, Chelsea in 1966 and soon became the clothier of choice for many rock stars. In 1969, it was sold to fashion entrepreneur Freddie Hornik, who opened a branch in New York in 1970.Provenance:Obtained by the vendor from a former employee of Charlie's, who worked for him in the late 1970s-early 80s.
