题识：冰河舟无路，雪山雁亦飞。岁在乙亥夏末南昌涂菊亭写于松墨口，师南田老人之笔。 |作者：涂菊亭，又名菊青，江西南昌人，擅粉彩山水人物，三十年代在南昌设松墨馆画舫，四十年代到景德镇绘彩瓷，山水画师清四王，人物画学黄慎，是以山水、人物为主的瓷画家。早期作品山水，人物别有特色，作品可与‘珠山八友’媲美。
