|周祖荫（1897－1966），名曦，字祖荫，苏州震泽人，寓居海上。擅绘事，工人物，笔墨工秀，与朱良材相类似。关于周祖荫的生平，史料所载仅止于此。今按其传世二十余件作品考查，其1939年与张生镛、朱文侯合绘之《麻姑采芝图》署“鹤溪外史周曦”，可知其号“鹤溪外史”。其绝大多数作品中，压角均钤“松荫草堂”印，则知其室名为“松荫草堂”。
