Of baluster form and flanked by two auspicious bats shaped handles, the porcelain jar is painted with bamboo trees, flower blossoms and chinese calligraphy. The rim is decorated with key-fret design while the bottom with scrolling floral foliage. Supported by a circular foot ring, the porcelain bowl exterior is painted with birds and floral decoration while the centre of the interior is painted with peach and auspicious bats.
