* A Large Chinese Hongmu Ten-Post Canopy Bed, Babuchuang late qing dynasty the wide rectangular mitered frame with a soft-mat sleeping surface, set above a plain straight apron on four square sectioned legs ending in hoof feet, the six square section and beaded edged posts joined with five openworked panels of swastika design comprised of three horizontal sections, the posts also joined at the top by twelve reticulated top panels and a conforming canopy, all raised above a large rectangular base, the entrance with a pair of beaded posts connected to the bed by four reticulated panels decorated with shou designs, the top section comprising three openworked panels carved with floral scrolls above spandrels with similar designs, all enclosed by sixteen removable back and side panels.
