signed Durtois Fils, Parisof substantial Portico form, the signed 5" enamel dial with Roman chapter, centre seconds and blued steel Breguet hands, the two train drum movement with outside countwheel strike on a bell and pinwheel escapement to a gridiron pendulum with knife edge suspension, 60cm high
|'Durtois Fils' are probably Dartois et Fils recorded by Tardy working in Place des Victoires, Paris between 1820 and 1840.
