|说明:宋代起中国盛行仿古之风,延续并影响至后代元明清。明代的仿造量规模甚大,流传于世者亦较多。明宣德年间,宣宗朱瞻基因见郊坛宗庙及内廷所陈设鼎彝均非古制,遂生复古之心,在宣德三年敕谕工部仿照宋人《考古图》、《博古图》诸书所记商周青铜器器形,铸造仿古铜器。当时所铸以上两类仿古铜器达3300余件。这些仿古铜器除部分归宫廷留用外,还奉敕分与诸王府,因而得以流传至各地。||这其中仿造商周青铜古器器形所制的器物中不乏精品珍品。此拍品即为明代仿制热潮中涌现出的铜器珍品之一。器体硕大敦实,极具质感,圆口折沿,短颈内束,颈肩接合处再度折进,丰肩,两侧置双兽耳吐环,腹部往下逐渐收敛,圈足外撇,器形正统大肚,沉稳厚重,气魄宏伟,肃穆凝重。||通体铜料皮色深褐均清,滋润如肌,包浆古朴,气势浑厚。其上施错金银以成各式环绕纹样:口沿回纹,颈饰夔龙纹,肩部显现出凶悍的兽面,腹部则是兽形与蕉叶的组合,近足处与颈部呼应,装饰成对的夔龙模样。肃穆深沉的底色之上,金银色的条纹游走自如,带来韵动的活力,在光线的衬托下呈现绚丽的光泽,令整器显得熠熠生辉,而这些纹饰本身则是神秘朴拙,精美隽秀,气势逼人,一种敬畏之感油然而生。台北故宫所藏之“错金银兽面纹罍”在纹饰风格上颇为相近,可供参考。||参考:台北故宫博物院藏“错金银兽面纹罍”,《古色·十六至十八世纪艺术的仿古风》P59,No.I-34||备注:红木座
