An Italian carved Verona marble group of a lion and cub in Romanesque style, both peering over a ledge, with stylised manes and almond shape eyes, 37cm high, 19.7cm wide, 39cm deep. Provenance: From the collection of Edward and Julia Carter Preston, sold on behalf of The Hope Carter Preston Foundation, Liverpool.
