The ewer is modelled in three registers each decorated with scrolling lotus. The gilt-bronze monk's cap and dividing bands are decorated in relief with flowers inlaid with various glass beads and hardstones. The handle and spout are modelled with beast head ends. The interior is unglazed, and the underside of the cover nks enamelled turquoise. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. Condition: Some lost inlays, some of which have been restuck.
