maker's mark for Silva & Martins from Oporto, pre-1938 second standard mark, 1932 to 1936Comprising: two pots, a lidded two-handled sugar bowl and lidded cream jug, each of plain polished ovoid form, the upper body with a linear chevron pattern issuing from the rim, shaped hollow handles, the covers with ebonised semi-circular finials, the two-handled circular tray with similar decorated border, diameter of tray 46.5cm, weight total 140oz.
