MARK OF GEORG JENSEN, COPENHAGEN, 1945-1977of globular form, with slender neck and everted rim, the long loop handle with reeded design; stamped number '978' to the underside. This design was dubbed 'African Girl' due to it's tall handle "stacked with necklaces", it was the first in a series designed in 1948, and was awarded the gold medal at the 1951 Milan Triennale. 35cm (13¾in.) high
