17th centuryWell carved as a horse standing tied to a post surmounted by a lotus-bud finial, a mischievous monkey raises a branch towards a fluttering bee beneath the finely-incised mane, the stone of pale celadon-green tone with russet inclusions, wood stand. 10.2cm (3 1/2in) long. (2).
