Two white jade thumb rings


Mid-Qing DynastyThe first, finely carved with a gnarled tree issuing small prunus flowers and buds, the stone of an even pale tone, 2.7cm (1 1/8in) diam.; the second, carved with a riverscape scene, depicting a fisherman rowing a sampan along the river, amidst rocky cliffs scattered with pine trees and against a backdrop of distant mountains, the stone of an even pale tone, 2.8cm (1 1/8in) diam.
