A pair of Meissen biscuit porcelain round medallions for the Berlin State Museum of Prussian princesses, third quarter 20th century, one inscribed PRINZESSEN FRIEDERIKE VON PRUESSEN 1796-1850 and the other PRINZESSEN CHARLOTTE VON PRUESSEN 1798-1860, each inscribed verso STAATLICHE MUSEEN ZU BERLIN HAUPTSTADT DER DDR and with blue crossed swords marks, 10cm diameter, in ebonized frames Note: Princess Frederica Wilhelmina of Prussia 1796-1850 of the House of Hohenzollen married the Duke of Anhalt-Dessau, she would become Duchess consort of Anhalt-Dessau and had six children.Princess Charlotte of Prussia (1798-1860) married Tsar Nicholas I of Russia and was mother to Tsar Alexander II.
