With steeply rounded deep sides rising from a short foot, all under a deep purple-blue glaze, six character Kangxi mark to base, 6cm H, 13cm diameter. (2) Provenance: London private collection prior to 1960. 清康熙 茄皮紫釉盌，「大清康熙年製」楷書款 For a similar bowls see J.Ayers,Chinese Ceramics in the Baur Collecton, vol.II, Geneva, 1999,catno195 (A474), and another in The Splendour of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1992, p 355, no 222.
