A HANGING SCROLL. Tachibana Daiki (1898 -2005). Humorously painted in ink and slight colour on paper with temples dotted around Mt. Yoshino, the inscription reads, Kono , , Yoshino (Please do not use this place as a toilet, Mt Yoshino is a beautiful place), mounted as a hanging scroll, 29 x 46.2cm with a fitted box. (2) Provenance: The collection of Brian Morgan(1930 – 2018), former director of Bluett and Sons, Oriental Art. 書幅 銘橘大亀 Tachibana Daiki was the head priest at the Daitokuji temple of the Rinzai Buddhist sect and an author of books on Zen philosophy.
