Edo period (1615-1868), 19th centuryEach of standard form and size, carved or engraved with different floral designs, two partially pierced: (1) tanpopo (dandelions), (2) wild chrysanthemums, ominaeshi (valerian) and kikyo (Chinese bellflowers), (3) trailing karakusa and two crests, one with the single character Sen, (4) cherry blossoms and irises, signed with a kao, and (5) in the form of a bud.
