|康熙皇帝君临天下达六十一年，由于他特别重视瓷器的烧制，尤其是文房用瓷的烧制，所以此一时期文房用瓷的烧制数量和工艺水平都达到了历史巅峰。其中又以瓷笔筒最为出色，在清代陶瓷史上占据举足轻重的地位。此一时期不仅笔筒的生产量为历朝所罕见，而且造型奇巧、纹饰华美，艺术表现也呈多样性。如此件拍品，以极难烧就的釉里红书写各式书体“寿”字满布，字字工整、排列有序，寓含万寿无疆之吉祥美意，推测为清宫祝寿用器，为清康熙瓷笔筒之难得臻品。||参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品全集·青花釉里红（下）》，香港商务印书馆，页182，图版166。
