Large Chinese early Ming or Late Yuan Dynasty blue and white porcelain charger. Thick potted with shallow vessel with scalloped rim, wealthy decorated in deep blue and white hand painting of a lifelike large carp swimming, wandering within water foliate, banded with scrolling foliage patterns. Underglaze blue are stable with subtle shades. The underside base with pale-creme unglazed and burnt orange spots in the firing.
