Overall in celadon tone with brown inclusions to top half. Carved on front side with two children walking along a rocky passage, holding a lotus flower and round box. A bird flying over, and cloudy moon shown on top. The back of the plaquecarved with a flower perforated in the center and one set of fastening holes. With carved wood stand. Ming to early Qing dynasty. H. 6cm x 6cm (2 1/4 x 2 1/4 in.) Provenance: Chinese jades from the Ed MirvishEstate, collected in the 1960s.
