抱月瓶外形最早源自宋元时期流行于西夏的陶制马挂瓶，左右双系，用以挂于马鞍之侧，极具民族特色，又称“葫芦瓶”或“宝月瓶。”拍品造型饱满别致，铜口螭龙双耳，直颈扁圆腹，下出圈足。通体饰斗彩缠枝莲八吉祥纹样，颈部绘有福寿纹，取“吉祥如意”、“福寿双全”之意，此瓶纹饰繁缛华丽，设色清雅宜人，彰显祥瑞之气。
