阿难，全称为阿难陀，为佛陀十大弟子之一。因为擅长记忆，对于佛陀之说法多能记诵，故称誉此尊为“多闻第一”。罗汉头部素洁无发，额头光洁，双目微阖，鼻梁高挺，嘴唇紧抿，彷如在默念佛陀的开示与教诲。全身躯体匀称，着交领厚重袈裟，袈裟环扣刻画清晰，极富写实感。双手于胸前合十。双脚蹬传统僧鞋，站立于莲座上。莲座形制独特，由卷草纹饰组成，富有独特的装饰效果。整像胎体厚重，刻画细腻，其规整对称的身姿、刻画入微的做工都带有明代内地造像的特征，对今人了解明代汉传造像的艺术神韵有着极大帮助。
